State Leaders

State Leaders are on-the-ground advocates for election innovations in their home states. The situation on the ground is different in each state. For example, some innovations happen in the state legislatures while other changes can happen at the ballot box.

Tennessee Testimonials

"Following the presidential election of 2020, the idea crystallized in my mind that America's problem isn't the result of individual leaders or individual actions, but rather it's the product of a massive, self-serving system in which the two parties serve as competitors AND referees. Whichever path we choose in the days to come – embracing partisanship or promoting civil discourse – the work will be hard. Given the choice, I choose the version of hard that unites people instead of dividing them. I choose to fight for people instead of fighting with them."

"I believe that for America to achieve its true potential, we must eliminate the two-party system. It is obstructionist, inefficient, and fails to govern effectively. I just got off a call with Eric Connor, and we seem aligned on our vision. I truly believe that a multi-party system could unlock a new American Renaissance and help spread liberal Western values throughout the world. Open primaries and ranked-choice voting are critical to setting the conditions for this to occur."

"I have generally been progressively more apolitical in the past few election cycles. My apathy has come after disallusionment that the political establishment has quite simply failed miserably… on both sideds of the duopoly aisle.

My malaise was shaken off recently when a friend chided me for not being engaged after telling him I didn’t need to see 15 texts a day retreading his views and ‘source’ documents. So my early resolution for 2024 will be to get more engaged and support work like this from Eric Bronner and the team at Veterans for All Voters.

When we moved from IL I explained to our new neighbors that IL had some long-term issues (2 former governors in jail in my lifetime) and was sadly broken. I’m fearful for where our new home state is heading and will get involved…I now have two TN born grandsons who will be watching soon how we all behave…"
